ah yes, the moon in your eyes
ah yes, the moon in your eyes

ah yes, the moon in your eyes

I have seen the moonlight settle in your eyes -
How else can my hands rub your face so,
ingratiating themselves with your skin?
How you beam like a full spirit
stretching forth in the uncertainty
of darkness, of kindness, of dark
kindness, of fear.
When you move it is outworldly
stringing, pulling me into
your unceasing expanse,
I latch on, my lunaphilic cogitations leavened -
How far can these waves of the heart
stretch the rims of supposable vertigo?
